June Beauty Favorites 2014!

Last month was a simple month, in terms of beauty products, but I fell in love with a lot of new items I have tried recently!
Let's take a peek!

This first item is an organic Shea Butter w/ Pure Patchouli Essential Oil in it. I bought this because I had heard someone say that this was really good to rub in on top of bruises to help them go away faster. I can't 100% say that that claim is accurate, but I have noticed a difference in my skin in general (mainly my legs where I apply it) to be just really smooth and hydrated. They say this stuff is also good for eczema, which I have, and I do find it works really well in keeping my eczema at bay. This stuff is a bit hard to work in since it is in solid form, so you have to really melt the product between your hands, but after that, you just treat this stuff like a thick body butter!

My next couple of favorites are from the latest Ulta purchases from almost 2 months ago, so I had a good time to test them out and I have to say, these are a must in my routine now (especially the hair product!)
First off, I have been looking for a good conditioner, and for one that is used on the scalp too as a cleansing agent that isn't too expensive. When I saw this Not Your Mother's Way to Grow Long & Strong conditioner (not that I need help in my growing my hair since it honestly is too long) I had to give it a shot and I absolutely fell in love with it! Not only do I like the slight tingly feeling it leaves on my scalp, but the act of massaging the product in the roots and then moving product down to the tips leaves my hair extra soft and conditioned. I don't use this everyday, but I do use it when my hair feels like it needs extra cleansing, or on those days that I don't want to full on shampoo my hair. I will definitely be picking up more of these, especially when they're on offer!

The next item I tried from that same Ulta purchase is the Mario Badescu Facial Spray with aloe, herbs and rose water. I'm a fan of facial sprays and toners in general, so when I saw this one, I thought it wouldn't hurt to try it out since I was running out of my Lush one. This one sprays nicely on my face and has a nice slightly herbal scent that isn't too strong. My skin instantly feels calm and hydrated after I spray it on and I even like to use this to set makeup or just as a refresher throughout the day.

Last two beauty favorites is an oldie, but goodie perfume, and a fun peachy pink lipstick!
The Ralph Girl by Ralph Lauren perfume for women is one of the first 'real' perfumes I had purchased on my own almost a couple years ago, and I recently started using this fragrance again and I am absolutely in love with this scent again! It is so perfect for summer since it has a sparkly floral scent that is also fruity and somewhat warm and seductive. If you're looking for something that isn't super fresh or sweet, then definitely give this one a smell. Plus, I noticed this scent to warm up even more on my skin making it even more sexy and musky, in a very good way! The rollerball is such a good size for this too and makes it super easy to travel with

My last favorite of June is this fun peachy lipstick from the newer NYX Butter Lipsticks in Candy Buttons. Not only have I been searching for a good peach lip color that isn't too orange, but I wanted one that was drugstore and with a good formula. I love the NYX Butter Lipsticks and find that even though they aren't as moisturizing as the name would suggest, I like how they feel smooth on the lips without sliding around too much and how they leave a light sheen on the lips. This color is absolutely gorgeous as well and is the perfect summer lip color. I definitely recommend this color if you are in need of a good peach lipstick.

I hope you enjoyed my June favorites! I love sharing new items that I am loving and older favorites as well too!

Have you guys tried any of the products above?
What are your current favorites? Let me know!

  1. that's a gorgeous lip color!! Also, I've been growing out my hair for a while.. right now it's at my waist. Though, I have curly, thick, dry hair... so finding a good conditioner is a must! Definitely need to give that one a go

    1. Thank you! I am absolutely loving it this summer. But try also some good oil treatments! I like to use coconut oil warmed up on my hair (way past my butt now haha) and I could use all the extra nutrition my hair can get! But I absolutely love that conditioner, I already bought a back up and the leave in conditioner in the same line and love that one as well!
