Maybelline Color Whispers: Some Like it Taupe, Faint for Fuchsia, and Oh La Lilac--swatch and review

I'm finally doing the last review on the other Color Whispers I picked up. I tried not to go overboard on these so only got 3 other colors, all pretty different in color. (For my review on Cherry on Top click here )

The last 3 colors I got were (L to R): #15 Some Like it Taupe, #70 Faint for Fuschia and #90 Oh La Lilac.

Funny Faced Gummy Balls

Today's post is going to be on this cute bright packaged chewy gummy bear like faced balls.
This particular item is from the Lion brand (known for doing many other cute looking candy packaging)

First off, as with most other Japanese candy products, the packaging is eye catching and very 'cutesy'. A quick buy for little kids or people who like cute stuff at the check out line.

As with many other products inside a little bag, its usually only half full.

Now the cool thing about these are that the little gummy balls have faces on them. And each face/color representing a different flavor. (i'm not 100% sure on the flavors yet since i can't tell from just tasting it, but I will have someone that can read Japanese clarify me for sure when I get the chance!)

Top Row L to R: Kyoho Grape, Muscat Grape, and Strawberry?
Bottom row L to R: Apple and Soda/Ramune

The texture is pretty much comparable to a gummi bear buy maybe slightly softer and they aren't too sweet. I'd also say that the little powdery looking stuff on the outside may look like sugar, but it really has no flavor, I think it's just there to keep the product from sticking together. Also, some of the faces don't quite match the package. I only got 1 flavor of the clear/white looking one, and none of the yellow one =( .
I think my favorite flavor is ramune (the blue one)
Oh yea and this product retails from around $2.19 USD.

Puccho Ball -- Cola Flavored

My candy review today is going to be on this Japanese puccho ball candy. If you've ever had regular puccho sticks (i'll be doing a review on those later) then they take the same concept of a chewy candy with different textures in it, such a this one.

Japanese Kit Kat in Raspberry/Franboise-Review

Here's a Japanese Kit Kat review in their Raspberry flavor also known as Franboise I believe (french name)

The packaging itself on these Japanese Kit Kats are just way more presentable as well as pretty looking than your 'typical' American Kit Kats. Not to mention the amount of flavor variety these come in.

Back labeling of box
Not to mention that back of these also have a space for you to write in the  'Dear' and 'From' which would be perfect for a little gift as well.

How to open box
And the amount that is inside.

Color and how the Kit Kat looks unwrapped

Inside of bitten Kit Kat.
My initial first bite of this was both sweet and tangy, just as if you were to bite into an actual raspberry. The raspberry flavor wasn't over powering but there was definitely some berry hints in it.
I paid for this item at Uwajimaya and it retailed around $2.19 I believe.
Overall, I would definitely recommend these to any Kit Kat lovers out here because they are worth a try.
Me personally, I would probably not repurchase, only because the tangy part is a bit much for me.

Curry Flavored Ramune???

Yup, Japanese products are usually the most unusual (flavor wise) when it comes to snacks/candies/drinks. Most are hard to find in the States, but every so often, there are some that sneak in.
Today, I will  be talking about one of the most iconic type of Japanese soda, Ramune, and this one particular flavor, Curry. (found at Uwajimaya in Washington, retailing for $1.59 each)

Also, I'll give a little demo, through photos, on how to open this bottle up after the jump!

L'Oreal Colour Riche Caresse Aqua Lip Lacquer in Berry Persistant: Review

I've purchased about 4 of these new L'Oreal Caresse lip lacquers and only really want one more color. For now, I will be doing individual reviews and swatches of the colors I have so as to give better detail to each color.
This first color I will be reviewing is #186 Berry Persistant. In the tube and from the coloring, it seems a lot more purple, but once applied it is definitely a deeper berry color (click link for further pictures and descriptions)

Iwata Kokutoh Almond-Brown Sugared cover Almonds Review

The snack review of the day are these brown sugared covered almonds by the Japanese brand Iwata. I received these as a sample from a vendor and they retail for $4.19

Fresh Cola Mentos???

So, you know how people mix these two :

  to get this..?
pic from turuturuschoolroom
Well, I found this mentos candy that actually has cola with it. It's made in China so i'm not surprised by the craziness. haha. Its chewy like any other mentos you may have with a little hard shell. The cola flavor isn't that strong in it though, but definitely there.
Don't worry, it didn't explode in my mouth.

Twinings-Lady Grey Tea: Review

I love tea, and love trying out new ones. Today I will be talking about Twinings Lady Grey Tea. What caught my eye mainly was the name 'Lady Grey'(sorry, I'm a sucker for all things 50shades and Christian Grey--plus the Twinings English Breakfast is mentioned in the books as well, I lowkey now wish that Anastasia Steele prefer this tea lolz). But I am also quite fond of the Twinings brand in general having tried the English Breakfast and Earl Grey.

Calbee Curry Flavoured Chips: Review
