Happy Friday everyone =) . For those that celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday, I hope you all had a wonderful time with friends, family, and food! For those of you that don't, I hope you all had a wonderful day! We're almost done with Fall/Autumn, with a little under a month to go, and I thought it would be a good time to share the lipstick shades that I've been reaching for (some more so than others). The best part of these picks are that they are 1) All drugstore which means they are 2) very affordable!
SWATCH + REVIEW: Milani's #24 Black Cherry Lipstick

It's been awhile since I've tried on a new lipstick (awhile for me is probably not very long for most >.<) and I am super excited for today's lipstick feature! I have been hearing for the longest time about how amazing Milani lipsticks are but have never tried them or any of their lip products before. I finally had the time to go to a store (Fred Meyer's for me) that carries them and picked up one of their Color Statement Lipsticks in #24 Black Cherry.

*picture heavy*
Taking a little rewind-my trip to Asia this past September was filled with some delays which left me with one day to play in Korea! We weren't too far away from the Incheon airport, but it was enough to see (and eat!) everything, or as much as we could!
First, let's take a look back to that whole day..

When the weather gets colder and we get closer to Thanksgiving and Christmas, my tea preferences definitely change and I gravitate towards more spice filled teas.
Coris DIY Stick Candy

One of my favorite things about Japanese candies and snacks is how kawaii (cute) they make everything! Look at this packaging! How can you not want to try it out?! The one thing I really enjoy most about some of these candies is that they are D.I.Y. so they make excellent gifts for little kids and great for stocking stuffers. There's more fun making them than actually eating them, in my opinion.

Playlist #2: Chill-out Vibes

Just a few songs on repeat when I'm in more in my low-key chill moods. Some old, some new, I don't believe that music has an expiration date. Whether you're reading, stretching out in a studio, hanging out with friends, or hanging out in a hoop like me (hehe, this pose is actually not hang out worthy), these are the songs good for those times =)
Aerial Hoop/Lyra is becoming one of my new favorite things. |

*Okay, a little bit of backtracking in my posts. It took awhile to narrow down the photos and I'll hopefully post up the rest of the trip pictures soon!*
@ Todak Waterfront |
First couple days in Malaysia were filled with seeing all the family, shopping, getting some beauty treatments, and of course, eating! I don't want this post to be too wordy (since I have lots more to come) so I'll let the pictures do the talking!
Nate's Wings & Waffles: Restaurant Review

For those of us who grew up in the Seattle area and paid attention to Metro League basketball during the early 2000s, you may have heard of a local, rising, basketball star from Rainier Beach High School (I still remember being 13 and seeing a high school game of his in 2002) going on to do big things at the University of Washington. Then you may have heard this local Seattle star becoming a star in the NBA, winning the 2006 All-Star weekend, Sprite Rising Stars Slam Dunk Contest (and winning the title 2 more times after). Now a player for the Denver Nuggets, Nate Robinson still holds pride in Seattle and just recently opened up a restaurant, not even a mile away from his old high school, in the Rainier Beach South Seattle area.

Sephora VIB Sale 2014 Wish List by kchan89
With the Sephora 2014 VIB sale in full force, I though I would share a few items that I have been eyeing for quite some time! I attended a VIB Rouge event with a friend on the first day of the sale (post here and I plan on making an online purchase shortly. Some of these would be perfect not only for yourself, but for gifts to family and friends that would love/appreciate these products, especially the gift sets.
Sephora VIB Rouge Event 2014
Last Wednesday, I went to the Sephora VIB Rouge event with a friend. We went to the one at Southcenter Mall and the store was closed at 7pm so VIB Rouge members + a guest could have the store to themselves. There were different vendors in attendance along with different beauty treatments available for attendees.

They just re-launched their store this month and it is amazing. Their clothing line is unique and offers every style along with their amazing selection of shoes and accessories. Personally, the clutches and maxi dresses are some of my favorite pieces! If you love comic books and anything with a more cartoon feel, you have to check out their fabulous line of skirts and pants. You won’t be disappointed! And everything sells for an affordable price, too.
