SWATCHES & REVIEW: Divergent Limited Edition Multi-piece Collector's Palette

As promised, I have swatches and a quick review of the new limited edition multi-piece collector's palette from Sephora for the new Divergent movie that is out in theatres now. Check it out HERE.

As I said previously, I love the packaging of the outside box that showcases the infamous Feris Wheel.
The light that reflects of the tin palette itself gives off a rainbow effect and looks stunning.
The back has a nice map of the make-up inside along with their names
Here's a look at the palette in natural lighting outdoors. I found this was the best way to show the true color of the shadows and blush/bronzer.
Eye shadows from L to R: Candor Lace, Luminous Taupe, and Envious Chocolate.

These shadows were sooo buttery and soft! They were so smooth and easily to blend.
Candor Lace is a nice matte creamy white color that is perfect for all over the lid or even an eyebrow/inner corner highlight.
Luminous Taupe isn't exactly a taupe color, in my opinion. To me, it definitely is more bronze in color especially when it is in direct sunlight. In the shade, there is some taupe like undertones to it. This is gorgeous in the crease or all over the lid as well.
Envious Chocolate is a dark matte brown shade that is highly pigmented. You seriously only need the lightest dip of your brush into it and you will get plenty of color. It is nice to darken up the outer-V or for a nice smokey look. It is good for a liner color as well.

Rosy Horizon blush on the left and Compassionate Copper bronzer on the right.

I love both of these products because they are matte! They are also very soft and very blendable.

Rosy Horizon is a nice matte mauve colored blush which is definitely something I look forward to playing around with. All the blushes I have are either pinks or corals so it is nice to have another color option for blushes when I want a deeper more romantic look.
Compassionate Copper is a gorgeous matte bronzer that doesn't look orange or muddy.
I only have one bronzer that isn't completely matte, so having another bronzer that is matte is an awesome bonus, especially if I want to play around with contouring.

Lastly is the high-shine lip gloss in Artistic Mauve.
Artistic Mauve is a shiny 'My lips but better' mauve color that is indeed shiny and lovely on the lips. On my lips, it just seems to enhance my natural lip color. This gloss has a minty-chocolatey smell to it which I love and it isn't sticky for me at all. It also has a tingly-cooling sensation from the mint that isn't too overpowering.

Overall, the tones of this palette is definitely in the more natural and mauve-ish range which is perfect for me since I like my make-up to be more on the natural side for the majority of the times I do wear makeup. I love how I have everything I would need in this one palette and can definitely see this being the palette I would take when I go travelling! I HIGHLY recommend checking this one out at Sephora ASAP! I bought it at the Sephora store itself for $32.50, but they have them ONLINE too.

Did you read the Divergent series? Will you be seeing the movie? Would you try out any of the Divergent sets that came out?? Let me know!
