Pink for October

Happy Halloween everyone! What are everyone's plans for tonight? I don't know about you guys, but where I live, it is pouring down rain so I will most likely be staying cozy at home..or perhaps go to the mall with my friend to bring her kid trick or treating! Everyone that celebrates this day, stay safe and stay warm and dry!
With the month of October coming to a close, I thought I would share some "pink" items for National Breast Cancer Awareness.

School Girl and Bad Girl Mime: Last Minute Halloween Costume Tutorial

If you're super last minute like me or just found out about a Halloween party, you may need to be quick and think of a quick yet fun costume! I didn't feel like spending any extra money or really take the time to shop for anything, so, I dug through my closet and found a striped crop top that instantly made me think: MIME! I styled two different options for the mime look-one school girl and girly, and the other more badass and cold weather friendly(er) with the same make-up look for both.

New In: Fall for Forever 21

Not too long ago, Forever 21 had promo for 30% off an entire order and I thought i'd just browse around and I'm so glad I did! The first thing to catch my eyes were those heeled combat boots (above) then some of the other stuff just happened to sneak into my car..hehe

Baked Potato and Butter flavored Noodle Snack: Review

Today I have a quick little snack post I wanted to share. I bought this while I was in Hong Kong since a) I just love Japanese snacks, b) This brand is ridiculously hard to find in the US, and c) Hellooo, can you say kawaii packaging?! (Kawaii = cute)
I don't read Japanese at all, but from the picture and flavor of this noodle snack, it is safe to assume it is a baked potato butter flavored one (if anyone can directly translate this, that would be awesome!) Also, these are the same noodle snacks from the brand Baby Star (that's just what I've always known it as but I'm not sure if that's the real brand or not!)

SWATCH + REVIEW: NYX Simply Vamp, Simply Red, & Simply Nude Lip Creams

These first came to my attention when I had a saw a picture of a friend wearing the Simply Vamp in Temptress and I had no idea these even came out! I then searched online to find more info about this line and to my surprise, there are more of these 'Simply' lines: Simply Vamp, Simply Red, Simply Pink and Simply Nude. I didn't pick any of the Simply Pink lippies, but I did try a red and nude.

Boo! Surprise.

I pretty much turn full on Otaku (Japanese term that loosely translates to people with obsessive interests, commonly in anime and manga) when I see cute/quirky shirts that have to do with anime/video games/TV shows, etc, and of course I got super giddy when I found this Boo, ghost character from Nintendo,  at an Anime convention I went to a couple years ago.

Nature Box: Sample Box

I wanted to come on here to quickly talk about my first Nature Box purchase (sort of) that has been blowing up recently.

SWATCH + REVIEW: NYX Wicked Lippie in Betrayal, Trickery, Risque, and Envy

I had no idea NYX was coming out with these Wicked Lippies until I actually went on their website to purchase another item. I saw the beautiful jewel tone lipsticks and knew I had to pick a few up!

Fong Ip Cafe in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia

Today's Malaysia post will be about this local café in the city of Kota Kinablu.
So, I may be a bit biased about this place (my uncle's shop basically), but I really do enjoy the environment and food here!
If Anthony Bourdain ever sees this, he needs to go to Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia and my uncle could seriously be his best tour guide, hehe >.<

Fong Ip Café was named for my great-grandfather, Fong Ip, and Fong is their family name (so in Western terms it would be Ip Fong).

Product Review: Annie's Way Arbutin + Hyaluronic Acid Brighting Jelly Mask

*This is a sponsored post. The item was sent to me by YesStyle for review purposes. I am not getting paid to write this review. All thoughts and opinions on this product are my own*

Last month, I was sent this
Arbutin + Hyaluronic Acid Brighting Jelly Mask from YesStyle for review purposes.
Being the skin care lover that I am, I had to give this product a shot. I love products with hyaluronic acid in them and I know my skin reacts really well to it. I usually have pretty dry skin, and especially with the weather changing from Summer to Fall, I felt that my skin could use the extra hydration!
Let's take a closer look at the product...
