DRY SPARKLING FUJI APPLE PRE-LAUNCH PARTY: RECAP

Today's post features a little bit of some #FBF action. About a month ago, I was invited to the Dry Sparkling HQ to see their new event space in the historic Smith Tower in Seattle and sip their new Fuji Apple DRY Sparkling soda paired with gourmet bites from AQUA by El Gaucho and some mixed cocktails.
(All photos by me unless otherwise stated)

The space is absolutely gorgeous with views of the waterfront. It was a rather intimate group, and I wish I wasn't as shy/awkward in real life, or else I would have mingled more, but I did get to see some friendly faces and meet other bloggers!
The food was delicious and being the major foodie that I am, I was around the table for a good while, haha.

Food:
Crab Salad on Wonton
Charcuterie Platter
Artisan Cheese Platter
Pork Tenderloin Sliders; apple currant relish
Alaskan Halibut Ceviche Curry Chicken Salad in Phyllo
Crab Macaroni and Cheese
Scallops with bourbon cider cream
Mini Desserts: Strawberry Rhubarb Tart, Maple Cheesecake with Candied Pecan, Baileys Bread Pudding with Caramel
Cocktails:
Vanilla Fuji Collins with Bainbridge Island Vodka / Fujitini with Douglas County Gin

I kid you not, I tried almost everything on the menu, including both drinks (the Vanilla Fuji Collins was to die for. The Fujitini was a bit strong for my liking, but I'm also not the biggest gin fan).

MY favorite food items would have to be the seafood options with the crab macaroni and cheese being my top pick. For the desserts, my friend and I were a sucker for the maple cheesecake with candied pecan.

Towards the end, we had the pleasure of hearing founder and CEO, Sharelle Klaus, speak about the company's beginnings and how her journey came to be. She was excited about the new Fuji Apple flavor, as was I since it is one of my favorite fruits to eat. The Fuji Apple Dry soda was crisp and refreshing with a light apple note. It was interesting to hear her partnership with Target and how this flavor is a Target only exclusive! How fitting though, with the red and all, ahaha. They gifted us with a goodie bag of a 4-pack of the soda and an awesome tall glass cup. Overall, I am extremely thankful for having the opportunity to experience this event and receive an invitation with Dry Soda and their PR company.

I highly recommend checking out this flavor out if you are ever around your local Target!
