NOTD: Sally Hansen Sugar Coat in Bubble Plum swatcy + review

I was at Target last week with a friend and she spotted this Sugar Coat nail polish on clearance and since she ended up not getting it, I decided 'why not?'

Ever since they displayed these out at stores, I have definitely been wanting to try one, but usually decided against it since I'm not thaat into textured nail polish. With this one being on clearance, it was the perfect time to try Sally Hansen's version of a textured polish.
The color hey had was #100 Bubble Plum. It is a pinkish-lilac pastel color that leans more towards the pink (bubblegum) side.
The brush was wider which made application a little easier. The polish itself looked like liquid polish with chunks of sand/or sugar in it. It took me about 3 coats to make sure all the layers were even and there that there were not missing spots. One of the best parts of these types of polishes though is that they do indeed dry very quickly and is hard to mess up since you can just reapply another layer over any mistakes.

It definitely had the gritty/sugary texture as other types of textured nail polishes which sometimes can be annoying. It feels slightly weird if you scratch yourself or get it caught on tights. I liked the color a lot and wished more so for a regular polish in this color. For the clearance price of $1.59, it was worth trying out to feed my curiousity. Some of the prices i've seen online are quite high but you can check around HERE if you're interested
