Current Tea Favorite Dec 2013: The Republic of Tea Super Herb--Baobab

The Republic of Tea has a line of teas that features "SuperHerb[s]" from different parts of the world. The one I am currently loving is the Baobab SuperHerb Tea*
For a clearer look at the description below:

"Known locally as kuka, baobab (BAH-oh-bab) is considered the “tree of life” for its massive, drought-resistant trunks that provide shade and shelter in Africa. The earthy, light notes of the baobab leaf are blended with a touch of mint for a grounding, healthy tea experience.

Reminiscent of a breezy walk among the mighty trees on the Avenue of the Baobabs in western Madagascar, baobab is thought to be an antioxidant in Africa. Traditionally used as a versatile medicine, baobab has a reputation for fighting asthma and soothing inflammation and fatigue."

The tin comes with 36 tea bags and the style of tea bags is in circular pouches with no string attached (can or cannot be of favor to some--I personally don't mind). I use a hot water airpot to fill my travel tumbler that holds around 16 oz of water and I just drop the tea bag right in and I don't remove it after infusing/steeping. I leave it right in the tumbler and refill it about 2 to 3 times after.
I'm not sure what a baobab plant is supposed to taste like, but it has to be pretty mild since I mainly taste the mint, which I absolutely love. I love all sorts of peppermint and spearmint teas, but the only problem I have with them sometimes is that they turn bitter when steeped too long. This particular blend does not get bitter at all no matter how long I steep it for, yet the flavor dilutes only slightly after I go back and refill it.

If you love mint teas and want extra benefits added to your routine, then I would highly recommend this one from The Republic of Tea. You get a crisp mint flavor that is light and refreshing. I drink this throughout the day and find myself more at ease and not as antsy due to the fact I usually sit down the majority of the day. I also notice it to curb some of the cravings when I drink more of this.

I also recommend drinking this with a little milk added to it. I don't know why, but there is something about adding the tiniest but of milk to the tea that just adds so much more body and a creamy

*I did receive this item as a sample to test out but would definitely repurchase after I finish the whole tin*
