NOTD: Revlon Parfumerie Scented Nail Enamel in #050 Surf Spray: Swatch + Review

After seeing different reviews online, I finally caved in and picked up a few of the new Revlon Perfumerie scented nail enamels! I went on to Target online and purchased 6 shades total and today's review will be on #050 Surf Spray!

The bottles themselves are super cute, dainty, and so feminine and is definitely very decorative. They look like mini perfume bottles and when they're all lined up, they look very nice.
Now on to the polish itself. I didn't use any base or top coat because I didn't want it to effect the scent of the polish. This color in particular took about 3 layers to get a nice opaque color, but it wasn't thick at all, which is nice when you need to layer up more. It was very smooth to apply, and though the brush is a little smaller than what I would like, the formula made it easy to work with. I love the end color result. It is such a vibrant and not overly shimmery bright sky/ocean blue. As for chipping, without a top coat, the polish is lasting pretty well for so far. I'm writing this review on the 3rd day of wear and I only have some tip wear.

I was pleasantly pleased with the scent of it too! As with other scented nail polishes I have tried when I was much younger, they were very disappointing and had very little to no smell once the polish dried. This was completely different! After it dried, the scent of a beach front mixed with a bit of sunscreen and fresh linen was left and I couldn't help but keep smelling my fingernails! I am completely obsessed with this scented nail polish line and can't wait to try the others.

I highly recommend at least giving one or two of these a try. The colors are beautiful and I'm pretty sure the smell that is supposed to accompany the color would be nice as well. Once again, check them out HERE at Target.com (cheaper online than in stores).

Have you tried these new Revlon Parfumerie polishes yet? Which colors/scent do you recommend??!

  1. so I had to stop by when I saw you got some Revlon Parfumerie polishes haha! I love the blue color on you it's such a lovely color, and you have some great shades it reminds me of spring. Glad you liked them, they are a bit thin and need more coats but the product itself is pretty cute.
