HINTS OF OXBLOOD

Every time it hits Fall time, I instantly think of deep red colors whether it is in clothing, accessories or makeup. This outfit I'm sharing today features the deep oxblood color, with pieces that are from last year, but are totally wearable this season. This faux leather oxblood skirt was a score at Nordstrom Rack last year and the sweater is from 2 years ago at an Urban Outfitters sale. Though these pieces may not be from this year or season, they're definitely staples and classic pieces that can be worn time and time again.

For even more color, I also wore a dark lip to match the skirt with NYX Butter lipstick in Licorice. The formula is great and the color is perfect if you're into a vampy lip. To keep this look from being too dark, I also added my mom's soft Burberry scarf which also has the complimentary deep wine/oxblood color in it's design to bring the look all together. I've also really been into back packs lately and this one is a gift from my mom's friend while she was in Italy and found this in a market. The material is solid and durable and the size is great to fit all your needs for a busy day. Throw on some tights and black booties and you're good to go.
