Fall Candle Picks: 2013

I just happened to walk past a Bath and Body Works when I was at the mall and noticed that they had a 2 for $22 sale on their 3-wick candles so of course I couldn't resist and of course I wanted to check out the new fall scents.
This year I wasn't too keen on the super fall time spiced scents or pumpkin scents there (not even the oh-so-popular Leaves) but there was on that caught my eye (and my nose).
The Black Pepper Bergamot was my fall candle pick with "intricate layers of spicy black pepper combine[d]with uplifting bergamot and lavender in a fragrance inspired by fall's changeable days."
I love the smell of bergamot and even though there was another candle with the scent, this one made an impact more so. I love Early Grey tea and the smell of bergamot in the tea, so this one was exactly up my alley. Since I wasn't able to get the London Calling candle, (smelled like black tea with lemon!) this one will have to make up for it in terms of candles smelling like tea. I can't wait to burn this one.

Since the other fall scents weren't really calling to me, I thought I'd finally pick up this Lemon Mint Leaf candle which just smells so fresh and clean. Though it may be seen as a 'summer' scent, I think it is a great one to burn during the day in your kitchen or bathroom.

I picked up a 3rd candle because after two candles, the price remains the same (so $11). I picked up the Eucalyptus Mint scent which is very soothing and calming. I love the wallflower in this scent and thought I needed to pick up the candle too. The eucalyptus and mint aren't overpowering or too strong, and there is a hint of sweetness mixed in too which makes the ambience really relaxing.

Check out your local Bath and Body Works ASAP--the sale on the candles may still be on and you can have first dibs on your favorites!! =P
