Current Favorites March 2014

I've been testing out a lot of products recently, but I have noticed that these products are the ones that I have been constantly reaching for and are ones that keep me happy =P.

For makeup, everything is pretty simple.

1) I recently re-found this peach scented lip balm from GAP and have been using it non-stop. The texture is so creamy and leaves my lips very hydrated without being sticky or anything. It also leaves a creamy look behind, which I love as well.
2) I have been loving the Clinique 'Bottom Lash' Mascara and actually like it for my upper lashes as well. Since the wand is so small, it is easy to control where product goes and I can cover each and every lash and get the hard to reach ones in both the inner and outer corners. As well, it is nice to use to cover the bottom lashes too!
3) I've also been more into cheek products so this NARS Mini Blush & Bronzer Duo in Orgasm and Laguna have been wonderful to play around with and I just find myself always gravitating towards it. It's just easy 'cause both items are in one compartment.

For face items, I have been loving these two products from Pacifica that I got in a sample kit from Target (sample kit HERE). It came with two other products (tinted chapstick and facial wipes) but I really have been enjoying the Dreamy Youth Day & Night Cream as well as the Alight Multi-Mineral BB Cream
The day cream keeps my face nice and hydrated and I find that I don't feel my skin drying out during the day. I don't use this at night thought, but I do like it as a moisturizer for the day time and it works well underneath the BB Cream.
The BB Cream I like to use every now and then and I use it mainly for spot-concealing. I like that it adjusts to my skin tone and evens out any discoloration I may have. I like to use it also as an under-eye concealer.
The thing I like about the Pacifica brand is that they are more natural and paraben-free.

My last favorite was a hunch find I found at Ulta. This is the Nivea Sun-Kissed Radiance Gradual Tanner & Body Lotion, fair to medium. I bought this at the end beginning of February to see if it would give me some color before my trip to Las Vegas this past early March and this stuff worked wonderfully!
It didn't smell like a self-tanning lotion and smelled better than the Jergens one. It also didn't streak on me at all nor did it have any unevenness. I usually use the Jergens one but found that if I wasn't careful, I could have missing color matches or lines even.
I didn't have to concentrate or worry too much with this Nivea one. After 2 weeks of continual use, my skin was wonderfully a nice light tan color, nothing too dramatic, which I like. I also used this after using a tan towel to enhance the color even more and it worked wonderfully. I cant recommend this product enough.

    1. If you can find the small sample kits/packs (and especially if they're on sale!) I would definitely check them out. I love the Blood Orange lotion and perfume though!
