EMPTIES #8

It's been awhile since I've done a beauty post and an empties one at that (sorry!) but I finally took some time to get this one up here. I've certainly gone through more items from over half a year ago, but sadly, I did not save all the garbage! Haha. Here's a look at my first empties post for 2015.

Orlando Pita Argan Oil Shampoo & Conditioner: I bought this duo from Costco since it was on a pretty good deal for what it is. It smelled nice and worked decently for a shampoo/conditioner duo but of course I found myself using the conditioner up way before the shampoo (thanks to my Xtra long hair). It didn't do anything extra special for me so I most likely won't repurchase.

BBW Mini Stress Relief Eucalyptus/Spearmint Body Wash: This little guy lasted quite a long time and was definitely refreshing. I loved the smell of it as it suds up in the shower and I did feel more relaxed after using it. I would definitely buy the full size in the future and of course a mini for travel purposes.

Jergens Natural Glow Express: I think I like the original formula better. If you're not careful with this one, it can leave you blotchy if you don't apply evenly. I received this as a gift with purchase so I probably won't repurchase.

Babo Botanicals Moisturizing Baby Lotion: Full review HERE. This is either my 2nd or 3rd bottle I've purchased and I already have another one on its way. It has a nice calming fragrance, works well with my sensitive skin and i'll continue to repurchase it.

Shiseido Perfect Oil: This is a cleansing oil that you rub into dry skin first and use water after to help emulsify the product and break down make-up. Once the product makes contact with water it turns into a milky consistency. I didn't find this product too effective, especially for eye make-up and it took a long time to use up. For the price, it isn't worth it for what it does and you can find many better ones for a cheaper price. I wouldn't repurchase.

40 Carrots Eye Gel: I only bought this because I saw it on a discount at Marshalls. I like how it refreshed my eyes in the morning since the consistency is a cool gel texture. It was nice to try but I didn't see anything too special from it. I probably wouldn't repurchase it.

C+M Rose Water Spray: I liked the size of this item and how the mist worked on the spray bottle. I bought it off of Sasa.com awhile ago and found it worked really well for traveling. If I don't have rosewater in hand, i'd definitely pick this travel friendly size up again.

LUSH Popcorn Lip Scrub: I loved this! But unfortunately, I didn't use it up fast enough and it became a big hardened rock of sugar scrub. This indeed did taste just like popcorn and my lips felt extra smooth after using it. I don't know if i'd repurchase it only because I couldn't use it up, but I wouldn't complain if I got this as a gift! I'd like to try the other flavors in the lip scrubs as well.

Daiso Charcoal Face Wash: This was okay for my skin, I didn't notice any extra cleansing properties to it after I used it since charcoal is really supposed to clean the gunk from the skin. It had a nice creamy texture so it didn't dry out the skin. It was decent, but I found it more of a chore to use this product up. For the price though ($1.50) I would recommend it for anyone that is looking for a gentle, moisturizing cleanser, however, I probably won't be repurchasing.

Maybelline Volum' Express The Rocket Waterproof Mascara: This is my second tube of this and I think I liked it a whole lot better the first time. I found that using this mascara the second time around wasn't as good and again, it felt like a chore to use up. I noticed it flaking on me more and made the ends of my eyelashes extra straight. I probably won't be repurchase this one in the future.

Mario Badescu Facial Spray: (short post HERE)I love this product whether as a toner before I put on moisturizer, to set any makeup I may wear, or as a daily refreshing pick-me-up. It isn't harsh or too fragrant and my skin really agrees with this stuff. It mists out a fine layer over my face and I don't find it drying out my skin like some toners do. Love this stuff, and I've already repurchased another one.

Kracie Moistage Triple Essence Cream: An old favorite that I can always count on. This product is simple and keeps my skin hydrated without feeling sticky. I have written more about it HERE and HERE.

BBW Market Peach Candle: By far one of my favorite scented candles. It is crisp and sweet, but not overly sweet and definitely feels like you are in a peach field/orchard on a nice sunny day. Love this one burned at all times and if they come out with it again next year (which I hope they do!) I will definitely pick up a couple more.

That's it for my empties! Kind of a lot but remember, it has been about 6 months since my last empties post and I would've had even more! I'm hoping to get more beauty related posts up on here soon!

Readers, have you tried any of these products? What are your favorite products you keep repurchasing? Let me know!
