RED IN PIKE PLACE MARKET || NIGHT SHOOT

I was lucky enough to have my family visit a few weeks ago and even more lucky that my aunt and uncle enjoy taking photos (see their stuff at mirrorlessplanet.com). My uncle does most of the photo taking and of course I'm more than willing to be his model for some portrait shots! After dinner around Seattle's Iconic Pike Place Market, we were able to shoot around in this near empty location and play around with a few camera settings. Sushi was on the menu so I felt like dressing it up a little bit w/ pops of red, but still keeping it casual with some sneakers.

SHOTS IN PARTIAL COLOR: RED
I'm loving this partial color setting since it's making all the red's really pop through. The red of my lips (using NYX's Simply Red lip cream in Seduction), red LV Twice clutch crossbody, and the Public Market sign in the back really show through; even some of the red on the passersby!

Some more fashion talk; I finally gave this red beauty of a bag a test drive and I love it so since it is so versatile (I'll likely do a full review of this bag soon!). Another one of my favorite color combos, which I may or may not have mentioned before, is black and red and I decided to pair this bag with black shoes and a black jacket. To break it up from having too much darkness, I wore it with this gray speckled dress from Cotton On and I quite liked the end result of the look! Below are some additional photos from my shoot with my uncle. Enjoy!
