Last Minute Valentine's Day Gift Guide

We're only a few days away from Valentine's Day friends and whether you're looking for a gift for that special someone, or hey, even a treat for yourself - I've got you covered for some last minute gifting inspiration! If you're celebrating with your girls on Galentine's, then this will also help you out.

Perfume

A beautiful fragrance makes for a lovely gift. My favorite type of romantic scents are anything with rose in it and you can choose from something a simple as a little gift set like the Elizabeth and James Choose your Nirvana Coffret Floral Edition or splurge on something luxurious like this Louis Vuitton Rose des Vents perfume.

Bath Products

Another easy to give gift can be found right at your local Lush - especially when they already have all the Valentine's items right in view. I love the selection of items that Lush has this year for their Valentine's Day collection and it was definitely hard to choose between all the pretty bath bombs, bath melts, and more. My top picks (from the top left) are the Tisty Toasty bath bomb,  Love Boat bath bomb, Heart of Enlightened Expectation bubble bar melt (orange), and Whole Lotta Love bubbleroon.

Beauty

Another lovely gift for the bath are these Sweet Love Rose Bath Soap Flowers that can be found on Amazon for quick delivery. Not only are they beautiful to look at, but they're great for decoration or adding a little something extra to your bath. Candles also make a great gift when you're in a scramble, especially if you know the recipient has an affinity towards them. This P.F. Candle Co candle in  Teakwood & Tobacco is great for those who want something more musky and are not so much into florals. For the makeup lovers, anything from Fenty Beauty is sure to be a hit, especially one of stunning highlighters. For something you can grab at the drugstore, any of the stunning Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink Lip Color would be lovely for a makeup lover's collection. The formula is amazing and it literally lasts forever. Something fun and fitting for the holiday is the Too Faced Sweetheart Perfect Flush Blush. Another beauty item (that's great to share) is the Acure Rose & Argan dry oil body spray that is great for after a soothing bath and to even use for body rubs and massages.

*Extra in this category is a fun new phone case like this magnolia inspired case from Ideal of Sweden. Ideal of Sweden has lots of stylish cases for both iPhones and Androids.

Bubbly

Foodies also need some love and drinks tend to be overlooked. Japanese drinks are my favorite by far with pretty packaging and delicious flavor options - like these sparkling peach beverages. There's options for both alcohol and non-alcoholic. These can be a bit difficult to find but if you have a local Asian market in your area (mainly Japanese), there's a chance you could find them. Another place to check would be somewhere like Total Wine or BevMo!

Sweets

Last but not least is my favorite category... sweets! Yes, these may be the stereotypical items, but hey, they're still lovely to receive as a gift. First up are chocolates in general, but take it up a notch with chocolate French macarons (or really any flavor). They're delicate and visually pleasing, and of course, delicious. These beauties are made by Jasmin of Bells Pastries and for my Seattle friends, take your gift up a  notch and offer a French Macaron Class (or any other baking class). Another chocolate treat that's classic are chocolate truffles and salted caramels. If you're in Seattle, you can't go wrong with Fran's Chocolates especially decadent Gray and Smoked Salted Caramels.

That's it for my last minute gift picks! Stop by your local mall or even grocery store and get your shopping on. Treat your loved ones and even yourself for this day where love is celebrated.

-Kirstie
