Uni a la carte. Sort of.

 
One of the simplest and easiest ways I like to prepare my uni/sea urchin is like this...


Add salt, ground pepper, and other dry seasonings into a plate, add some extra virgin olive oil and white truffle oil (if you have it). Heat it up a little in a microwave for about 15 seconds. Then place the Urchin roe right on top.
 
And now, you have the perfect starter dish dip to go with some nice warm toasty bread!
 
 
While your bread is still warm, dip it directly into the sea urchin and mix it all around. The sea urchin will basically melt into this awesome sauce with the olive oil and seasonings.
 

 
Get some of that roe onto the bread and enjoy!
