Mini Lush Haul

I was at the mall the other day with my friend and decided to hop into Lush! I was looking for a new face mask to exfoliate and cleanse so I thought I would look around. I also ended up getting a couple other items and stopped myself from getting any bath bombs and bubble bars since I still have to use the ones I have home up.

What I originally came in for was a face mask and decided on the Fresh Face Mask. The one I picked up was Love Lettuce which, unfortuneately, you can only buy in stores since there is a short shelf life and needs to be refridgerated.
Description from Lush:
Love Lettuce is our most exfoliating mask that scoops up dirt, oil and debris and washes it all away. Exfoliation is an important part of good skincare, as it removes the buildup of dead skin that can clog your pores and cause imbalances. Love Lettuce is a great example of how a few ingredients can make a fresh, effective product for the skin. We blend fresh seaweed to nourish and soften with 100% pure French lavender oil to balance an oily T-zone and ease any inflammation. Use Love Lettuce for bright, fresh skin that glows from the inside out"

Even though it's called 'Love Lettuce', I don't believe there is any actual lettuce in it, and the green color comes from the seaweed. I have already tried this out once and loved it immediately. I found it very soothing (must be from the kaolin and lavender) as well as being a great exfoliator from the ground up almonds. It also left my skin feeling hydrated (from the honey and seaweed) and left my skin very smooth and glowing.

The smell may be a little offputting to some, but it didn't bother me. It had a clean yet earthy scent to it.
This cost $6.95 and will last in your fridge for about 2 weeks (I'll probably add a little water and mix it up if it goes extends beyond 2 weeks). I highly recommend this for a nice little spa-like treat for your face every few days or so.

The next item I purchased I sort of got talked into by the sales girl, but I was looking for another toner spray since the one I currently have is almost running out. I thought I would try the Breath of Fresh Air toner water since it had qualities that intrigued me.

The description from Lush says:
Give your skin a new lease on life with a blend of ingredients inspired by the sea. Breath of Fresh Air is suitable for all skin types, but is particularly beneficial for faces that have been ravaged by the elements. A gentle spray refreshes you when you need it most and brings all the nutrients of the sea directly to your skin. Fresh seawater gently cleanses, while carrageen (seaweed) extract softens and provides essential vitamins and minerals. And all the while, rose absolute and aloe vera are soothing dry areas.

I liked the sound of the 'sea' elements as well as rose in the product since I usually lean toward rose infused products. I bought the smaller size for $9.95 and this one you can buy in stores. The sales lady sprayed it on for me in the store and I found it very refreshing and that it didn't leave my skin dry after it dried off.
I haven't used this regularly yet since I am still finishing my other spray, but I may do a review on it later.

The last item I purchased was definitely an impulse buy and I figured 'why not' since it was for a good cause and purchases goes towards charities. The Charity Pot I picked up went to Charter for Compassion and I picked up the smaller size for $5.95 which I can just throw into any bag I have.

From Lush's website.

What's in
the pot?

A body lotion that wants to change the world! Made with Fair Trade organic cocoa butter, moisturizing almond oil and fragrant ylang ylang, Charity Pot is so much more than a donation to charities (not that your money isn't put to good use!) We make Charity Pot with the finest possible ingredients, so your skin will feel as soft as your heart.

The smell to me isn't that appealing and I think it may be from the mix of almonds and the ylang ylang but it does make my hand feel nice and hydrated. There is no greasy feeling to it so that's a plus as well.
Either way, the purchase went to a good cause so I'm happy I could contribute.

Do you guys have any Lush preferences or new items you'd like to try??
