Have you ever seen pink cola before?! Well, I'm not sure about you, but I never have and when I saw this at the Japanese grocery store, I had to try it out!
Okay, so, the labeling is very attractive and the light pink liquid inside is very inviting, but that's as far as the compliments go. The drink didn't quite taste like cola but more of some strawberry or some other berry flavored cough syrup! This was way too sweet and definitely syrupy. I took a few sips and had to pour the rest out, sadly =(
I would only buy it for the novelty of it, but actually quality of taste--pass. This is surprisingly one of the few Japanese drinks I'm not a fan of, and it is as mainstream as you can get.
Readers, have you seen/heard of Pink Cola before? Ever try any other Japanese drinks?
