What's in my Carry-On Liquids Bag? 2014

The next little bit I will be sharing with you all is the liquids I will be carrying with me as I am flying.

According to the TSA:
"3-1-1 for carry-ons. Liquids, gels, aerosols, creams and pastes must be 3.4 ounces (100ml) or less per container; must be in 1 quart-sized, clear, plastic, zip-top bag; 1 bag per passenger placed in screening bin. The bag limits the total liquid volume each traveler can bring."

For longer flights, I tend to want to have more with me on the long flights, just in case.

This is where all travel size and sample size items come in hand. I can have a bunch of stuff and not take up too much room. Here's the things I'm bringing.

Facial sheet masks are a must for me. I try to make sure my face is fully hydrated so I like to use facial sheet masks to add extra moisture into the skin that the airplane may take away. I like ones that are more calming ( either with milk and honey) or a nice hyaluronic acid one, but the one I am taking with me is this My Beauty Diary: Natto sheet mask

Next up, I definitely need a facial spray/mist on the flight. I will be taking the Evian Mineral Water Spray which came in a convenient two-pack and is a travel friendly side. These are a must for when you need that extra boost to feel nice and fresh.

Next up is some hand-sanitzer. You gotta keep your hands clean so the best way is with some anti-bacterial. I love my Market Peach scented one from BBW, but there are so many other options to choose from HERE.

I also need (for some reason) a bunch of different creams and moisturizers for my face when I fly. I don't like not having my options or if the airline somehow LOSES my checked luggage (knock on wood) I have the bare necessities that I need! I will need some sort of hydrocortisone (just in case I have an allergic reaction to something) and I am loving my Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin CreamAlong with that, my other facial items range from mini sample sized serums, facial oils, eye cream, and moisturizer. And should I need to fully clean my face, I have a facial scrub on me.

Mini size perfume and mascara samples are perfect for traveling and don't take up any room at all. I like to have my concealers on me, just in case I land and need to look somewhat presentable.

I definitely need my eye drops (loving these Rohto Ice Eye Drops ) and contacts on me, again, in case my luggage somehow gets lost.

And that's about all I have for my liquids! It's a lot, but they all fit in my clear quart sized clear bag!

Readers, do you tend to bring more than you need or feel like it is better to have what you need just in case? What are your in flight essentials? Let me know!

  2. Love this post! I'm always traveling and my Carry-On liquid bag just doesn't cut it. I tend to want to buy stuff (as in stuff that I should already have prepared like toothbrush and all that hygienic stuff!) at the destination that I'm heading to but of course, it can get expensive because the nearest market is catered to tourists! Thank you for this!
