This review is a bit late, but better late than never! About a month ago, Hautelook was having a sale on some Lime Crime lippies. Not that I need anymore lip products, but I couldn't pass up the sale and there's been a couple of things I've been eyeing to grow my collection. I went ahead and ordered just two products, the Lime Crime Unicorn Lipstick in Eraser and their Velvetines in Suedeberry.

Suedeberry is described as a coral red shade and I'd have to agree with that description. It is definitely a bold lip color but not overly bright. It's such a fun color for the Spring and Summer months to come, which is primarily why I choose to pick it up. The liquid to matte formula applies smoothly. The velvety soft texture dries down to a matte finish in less than a minute but is also buildable. I'd recommend exfoliating your lips well first however since the product an cling on to dry patches around the lips. Application is fairly easy and the product doesn't muck up when you reapply over certain areas. This did feel a bit drying so I would also recommend a balm on your lips a few minutes beforehand. Other than that, the product lasted through eating and drinking and stayed on my lips for a good few hours.
Eraser is based off the eraser of a No. 2 pencil and was apparently limited edition (sorry guys!) but I'm so glad I was able to pick this one up! I immediately loved it when I applied it. It's the perfect pinky nude with peach undertones that doesn't lean too cool or too warm. This one looked like a perfect nude for the warm seasons and was on sale for more 50% off. This applied beautifully and was so rich, creamy, and pigmented. It is easy to reapply and left my lips really hydrated. I wouldn't say this is the longest lasting lip color out there, but you get a good couple hours or more, depending on if you eat or not, though touch ups are really easy with this one.
Both colors are on almost the opposite ends of the spectrum but both are great for this time of year. Eraser is more wearable and can be matched with almost any look, whereas Suedeberry is definitely more of a statement look.
