My Favorite New Boy

chanel boy caviar outfit seattle asian art museum blogger nikeI can't believe it's already September 1st! Where has the time gone? It seems to just be passing us by and sometimes I feel like I can't keep up, but I digress! Today we're talking about this beautiful new purse in my life - the Boy Chanel. The older I become, the more I appreciative I have become of designer purses. I've grown to truly understand the history and appeal that draws many people to collect these pieces. I can see why many people purchase these not only as a simple accessory but also as an investment as the value almost always goes up on these purses.

The thing about Chanel purses is that because they are expensive, you tend to not want to take them out (at least for me!) in case you scratch it, especially if it is made out of lamb skin. What I love about this particular Boy Chanel is that is is caviar which is more durable and less prone to visible scratches. I also love the ruthenium hardware on this bag gives it an overall casual feel. I can use this bag in a dressy look or how I styled it above, more casually. I kept  it with the black and white colors paired with my current favorite go-to Nike Air Max Thea I bought from this past Nordstrom #Nsale. There's a bit of color from the rose gold sunglasses and red floral embroidery, but overall and monochromatic look.

I used to not care for the Boy Chanel, but the small size makes it much more doable and I have to say, is definitely a new favorite and I know I'll definitely get a lot of good use out of it.

I hope you liked this look! Let me know if there are pieces in this look you'd like to see styled another way! Happy Friday =)
