I have been eyeing the new Maybelline Baby Lips Electro collection for some time and finally caved in. I told myself to not go crazy and get every color, so I limited myself to the ones that I would like the most, the bright pink one 'Pink Shock' and of course the purple one in 'Berry Bomb.'

The first one I tried on my lips was Pink Shock and this definitely had great pink color on the lips. It is not a normal balm with a little tint of color, this color could be on par with the Maybelline color whispers. I loved this color and how it looked on. There is a slight fruity scent to it, but nothing too strong. It was also very hydrating on the lips and not too greasy. I think it was even more moisturizing than some in the original collection
Then I tried on Berry Bomb and though it isn't as pigmented as Pink Shock, it left a nice wash of berry color over my lips. I think if it was too purple on the lips it wouldn't be as wearable. The smell on this one was more berry like and stronger than Pink Shock, but again, it was nothing to overwhelming. The formulation on this was also like Pink Shock and felt really hydrating on the lips. This is currently my go to balm in my bag.
I love the Baby Lips and highly recommend this collection if you're wanting brighter colors. I don't know how the other colors would turn out but I recommend these two.
